This was my second try at traditional printing. Something about goats, I dont know. I am also not sure what happened around his nose area, which sports a shadow that makes him look very mustached.
Go easy on me; Im new at this. ^^
Monoprint Oil-based ink Tools: Plexiglas plate, brushes, paper towel, Q-tips, a big-ass printing press
Since i've read about the "wanabe moustache" shadow I can only focus on it and it's hard to not laugh each time I see your picture ^^ It's quite hilarous, maybe because it act as a contrast with this picture wich makes me feel a bit uneasy with this weird eye staring at me and this black background. Technically I really like the effect of the smoke and the horns

This is great, his nonchalant, repressive attitude has been captured so well, um not that all smoking goat men have nonchalant, repressive attitudes, that would be generalizing. Great job with the gentle shading and smoke lines too. He's going in my faves.
Thanks for the comment! It is a little dark and creepy; I wouldn't want to meet this guy.

Lol, thanks. It is supposed to be kind of a tongue-in-cheek surreal bit, but Goatman is still haunting. Even with his 'stache.

Aw, thank you so much! No, but we must not discriminate against the goatmen. Some are quite cheerful.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

Love the way you made those horns (smiled a little at that "paper towel" part).
