Artist's Comments

So I got back into the sheep person groove and I'm adding to my totally nonsensical pointillist series. All those little dots were a bitch, so full view it puleeeze.

that's awesome. I love the stipple effect on the face, and the ram's suit. nice framing too withthe swirly things around the bottom. good job

wicked awesome surreal psychedalia... As her face cracks apart and the sheeps love just climbs out of her. "Here let me help you dear", it's a beautiful garden all the way out here in the dessert.

me thinks this is my favorite work of yours so far, but am too tired for advanced critique, sorry! :)

The Exquisite Corpse

"Qui a dit: 'Un roi sans divertissement est un homme plein de miseres'?" Giono

The dots positively make the drawing.

I love an artist who can pull paisley stuff off. I love paisley everything and when it's done in such a fun way, I can't help but be charmed.

And I love the ram's horns. Maybe it's because I can never draw them. Who knows? But anyway, I love them here.

He looks so damn proper. :) Makes me smile to see such gentlemanly behavior. I know if I were climbing out of a fractured face, I'd want such a kind gentleman as himself to help me out.

I like all the imagery in your picture, it's so odd and stare worthy. And when I say odd, I mean in a good way.

I think your use of solid black with the pointillism works very creatively together. The whole picture makes you wonder and that really is a joy to do. As for advanced critique, the only thing that I would personally spot is ... I think that the broken head's eye need to have less of a gap between itself and the side of the head. It makes it appear as though the eyes would be too close together, if the other eye was in view. I don't think it distracts anything, it's just a minor issue. If you wanted her eyes closer set ... then I retract that. :D

This is truly amazing and creative. I like how most of it is shaded with stippling, and then the "plants" are solid black and white. Great work :)

Ah love! could thou and I with Fate conspire
To grasp this sorry Scheme of Things entire,
Would not we shatter it to bits—and then
Re-mould it nearer to the Heart’s Desire!

I'm not sure what this image means. You're interpretation is as good as mine. Thank you for your comment. :)
